All Nodaway County kids get a library card funded through our County Commission

All kids ages birth through 6th grade in any Nodaway County school district can now get a Maryville Public Library card for 2022-23, thanks to a federal funds distribution from the Nodaway County Commission that will pay the non-resident fee for those eligible children.

To obtain your county-paid card, bring a photo ID and anything else that shows your Nodaway County address to the library and sign a one-page application at the desk, or found below. Kids residing just outside of county limits in the Nodaway-Holt School District and Jefferson C-123 School District are also eligible for this offer.

And don’t forget, the library’s Summer Reading Program begins June 1. Cardholders of all ages can sign up on or after June 1 to begin reading for prizes from Kris and Kat’s, Fields Paintball, Sonic, TuckPoint Bar and Grill, Maryville’s Aquatic Center, Usborne Books, and many other supporting businesses, as sponsored by our local Lions Club.
