More historical newspaper content now available to MPL cardholders

Maryville Public Library is pleased to announce we’ve recently contracted with ProQuest’s Newspapers.com to offer full access to digitized Missouri newspapers dating from the mid 1800s to the mid 1900s, including Nodaway County and Maryville newspapers going back to 1869. Users can search by keywords or names to find specific articles or family history content.

For more current full-text newspaper content, MPL also offers NewsBank, a full-text newspaper database that includes Maryville Forum articles from 2001 on, as well as full keyword-searchable content from newspapers and news magazines all over the United States.
